Putting Others First and Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Throughout the month of January, several of our Satellite Shelters branches honored Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through various volunteer projects supporting the local community. In Charlotte, the team worked at a local kitchen helping to prep meals and serving over 100 local residents lunch. The Philadelphia branch created “blessing bags” filled with essential items to give to the homeless within their community. At the Cincinnati branch, the team packed individual bags full of hygiene products for a shelter that serves the local community. Employees are encouraged to put others first and give their time to better serve the communities they live and work in.
Denver Branch Impresses with Custom Modular Building
Looking to WOW in Denver, Satellite Shelters’ Denver branch delivered a spacious 8-plex modular building, designed to meet the client’s specific needs. This custom structure includes eight private offices, both a small and large conference room, a custom kitchen, and restrooms. Additionally, the building is accessible with an ADA ramp and comes fully furnished to provide a complete office setup.
Minneapolis Branch Joins Associated Builders and Contractors of Minnesota and North Dakota
Sales representative Matt Lawellin and our Satellite Shelters Minneapolis location became members of the Associated Builders and Contractors Of Minnesota and North Dakota in January. Through this connection, the Minneapolis team will be able to work closely with other members of the organization to deliver mobile offices to jobs across Minnesota and North Dakota.
Satellite Shelters Team Members Gather for Annual Sales Meeting in Dallas, TX
In late January 2025, Satellite Shelters’ sales representatives, branch managers, and team members from across the country gathered in Dallas, TX, for the annual Sales Meeting. This highly anticipated event featured engaging keynote speakers and insightful peer presentations. It provided an excellent opportunity for team members from different locations to connect and participate in exciting team-building activities.
During this annual meeting, Satellite Shelters celebrated the team’s achievements with award presentations, highlighting our top sales representatives and branches. Below are some of our top awards from the night.

Celebrating Work Anniversaries at Satellite Shelters
Satellite Shelters prides itself on having the best employees in the industry, and we are excited to celebrate several employees who had work anniversaries in December and January.
- December 30th, Ileen Davisson-Ziemba, Satellite Shelters sales training manager, celebrated 5 years with Satellite.
- January 8th, Satellite Shelters celebrated Jamie Lovelace’s first year as the branch manager for Satellite Shelters Charlotte.
- January 12th Satellite celebrated Brent Gartin’s 10-year anniversary with the company. Brent has been an invaluable member of the team holding several positions from branch manager of the Kansas City location to now being a Regional Vice President.
